Online Reliable Resources

The Internet is a great place to find information and check facts, if you know where to go. Here are some incredible web resources that are known for being consistent, accurate and reliable!

“It's knowing where to go to find out what you need to know; and it's knowing how to use the information once you get it.”

William A. Feather (1889-1981)

How to Evaluate Online Information

It is important to be critical of information found on the internet. Ask these questions:

  • Who?
    • Is the writer an authority on the topic?
  • When?
    • Is the information current?
  • Why?
    • What is the purpose of the information?
  • Where?
    • Where did the information come from?
